When to Go:
Because of its warm climate travelling to Fiji can be done throughout the year, however, it is best to go in the dry season which runs from May to October. Temperatures average about 24 Celsius in the winter ( May through October), 27 in summer (November through April). Although the temperatures are slightly cooler in the winter months there is less rainfall and less humidity.
Where to Go:
With over 300 islands, there are unlimited places to explore. Viti Levu has many towns and regions to visit including Nadi (pronounced NAN-dee), Lautoka, Denarau, the Coral Coast, Pacific Harbour, Sigatoka town, the Sunshine Coast, Suva and the Eastern Islands. West of Nadi lie the beautiful Mamanuca Islands, home to many holiday resorts, and further north are the Yasawa Islands - magnificent, untouched jewels in the South Pacific. In the north, the main town of Vanua Levu is SavuSavu, which sits alongside some of the most beautiful beaches in Fiji, and beneath the most amazing mist covered mountains.
